Information we process

When you create an account, we receive identity information from your sign-in provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, and provider account identifier. When an authenticated visit is linked to the account, our hosting layer may also supply its registration IP address and two-letter country code for account security, abuse prevention, and internal operations. We also maintain your plan, Credit balance, subscription references, usage records, and technical records needed to secure and operate the service.

Local file processing

Text recognition, PDF rendering, and basic canvas editing are designed to run in your browser. Files used only with those local features are not intentionally uploaded to TextImageMaker servers.

Optional cloud processing

Text-only translation sends extracted text—not the image—to DeepSeek. When you explicitly request AI repair, text replacement, or a localized image, the image, mask, and supplied edit text are sent through our server to APIModels. We process these inputs to provide the requested result and do not intentionally retain them in the current application. Providers may process limited data under their own terms and security practices.

Payments

Stripe and, where indicated at checkout, Link process payments, taxes, billing details, refunds, and payment-support information. TextImageMaker does not store full card numbers. We receive identifiers and transaction status needed to grant Credits, manage subscriptions, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and respond to refunds or disputes.

How we use information

• Provide accounts, requested tools, Credits, subscriptions, and customer support.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain transaction records.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
• Measure site performance or show advertising only where the relevant optional consent has been given.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies support authentication, security, and saved consent choices. With optional analytics consent, we store random first-party visitor and session identifiers and measure page paths, device category, broad traffic-source category, two-letter country code, hostname-only referral source, and optional UTM source and campaign. These analytics events do not retain a full referrer URL, raw IP address, user-agent string, browser fingerprint, uploaded file, or extracted text. Optional analytics and advertising scripts load only after consent. You can revisit your choice through the cookie controls made available on the site or through your browser settings.

Retention and security

We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information, or object to certain processing, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal. To make a privacy request, email us from the address connected to your account.

International processing and children

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, with safeguards required by applicable law. TextImageMaker is not directed to children under 13, and users must meet any higher minimum age required in their country.
