Terms of Service

1. The service

TextImageMaker provides browser-based OCR and editing tools and optional cloud AI features, including translation and image repair. Features may change as we improve the service. Automated results can contain errors, so you must review output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or other important decisions.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You must provide accurate information and promptly contact us if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

3. Your content

You retain your rights in content you submit. You give TextImageMaker and its processing providers limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate the feature you request. You confirm that you own the content or have all permissions needed to upload, edit, translate, and download it.

4. Site artwork and image licensing

Unless a different credit or license is shown, TextImageMaker brand artwork and original images published by us are copyright © 2026 TextImageMaker. They may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission. Contact us to ask about licensing a specific image. Images submitted by users remain subject to their respective owners' rights and permissions.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law; infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights; create or distribute harmful or deceptive material; bypass usage limits or security controls; interfere with the service; or access it through unauthorized automated methods. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.

6. Credits

New accounts receive 5 welcome Credits. Local OCR, document conversion and sharpening are free without signing in. Cloud translation costs 1 Credit; AI image operations cost 5 Credits. Subscription Credits are added after each successful subscription payment. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for money except through an eligible payment refund.

If a charge is refunded, the unused Credits issued by that payment will be removed. If some of those Credits have already been used, we may limit the refund, remove only the remaining balance, or review the account before completing the request. Credits automatically restored after a failed cloud operation are service Credits, not a cash refund.

7. Subscriptions, cancellation, and renewal

Pro, Creator and Business are monthly subscriptions. The price and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Unless canceled, a subscription renews automatically each month using the payment method on file.

• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard or by emailing [email protected].
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain plan access and remaining Credits until then unless the related payment is refunded.
• Canceling stops the next renewal but does not automatically refund or prorate the current period.
• If payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features or return the account to the Free plan.
• For subscription price changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice where required, and the new price will apply to a later renewal.

8. Payments and refunds

Checkout and payment administration are provided by Stripe and, where shown at checkout, Link as merchant of record. Their payment terms may also apply. Refund eligibility and request instructions are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

9. Third-party services

Some features depend on third parties, including Google for sign-in, Stripe or Link for payments, APIModels for AI image repair, and DeepSeek for translation. Their services and policies may apply to information they process.

10. Availability and warranties

We work to keep TextImageMaker reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties that can legally be excluded.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TextImageMaker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability relating to paid service is limited to the amount you paid for TextImageMaker during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.

We may update these Terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be communicated when legally required. Questions may be sent to [email protected]. TextImageMaker is the name under which this service operates.
